Located in Gueliz neighbourhood, the shop “The Perfumes of the Sun” is decorated with the architectural tradition of Marrakech: Bejmat in the ground, Tadelackt in the walls and ceiling with Atlas wood.
The ceiling and furniture in cedar were made by Maâlem Abdeslam Demnati, one of inheritors of a long tradition of cedar wood working.
Since many years, Maâlem Abdeslam Demnati gave nobles to cedar wood. His decoration of “The Perfumes of the Sun” shop is a perfect illustration.
“Making a perfume, is a creation by a composition of complex odors a poetic and imaginary climate, translating with passion a history, memories and to feel lost in the labyrinths of the secret gardens of universe.
By creating the perfumes of the sun I wanted, with my own manner, to share in offering another facet of the art-living in my country” Abderrazak Benchaâbane.
“The Perfumes of the Sun” proposes a range of toilet waters from 50 euros: Soir de Marrakech, Casablanca, Mogador, Sultane des Coeurs, Agdal as well as candles and soaps.
You can discover the perfumes collection at the shop “The Perfumes of the Sun”, at Mamounia hotel (Bab Jdid avenue) or at “La Maison Arabe” (1, Derb Assehbe - Bab Doukkala).
