“Matisse Art Gallery promotes the whole Moroccan art, whether it's about oriental painters mainly of the beginning of the 20th century or contemporary artists”.
Located in Guéliz, Matisse Art gallery is opened to all artists thanks to the inclusion of figurative as well as abstract creations of foreign artists in its permanent collection.
Launched in 1999 by Nabil El Mellouki and Youssef Falaki, Matisse Art Gallery is clearly the most ancient art gallery in Marrakech. It relates the Moroccan contemporaneous art with its different trends and has as principal goal launching young talented artists such as Nourredine Chater, Nourredine Daifellah allowing them exhibiting close to well-known artistes like Farid Belkahia or Hassan El Glaoui. The gallery receives also foreign artists.
