At the 7th century, Japanese studied the Asian music and in 701, an
office of the music was established in the imperial court. Because of
the official support, the gagaku (music of court) developed in music
of ritual of court. With the 9th century the foreign music mixes with
the Japanese folk music and that had as consequence several new models
musical including/understanding the dengaku which was a combination of
the music and dance associated with the ritual with the plantation and
harvest and the sarugaku which was a precursor with the nohgaku (music
played in the theatre of noh). At the 12th century when the biwa (lute
with four cords) became a popular instrument among the class samouraï
and a musical model of biwagaku emerged. In the last half of the 14th
century as noh the theatre became more popular, a new kind of music
called nohgaku developed. Buddhism contributed considerably to the
development of a musical model played with the shakuhachi which was
carried out during ritual monk. At the 16th century, Japan tested a
